Cran Darach Treehouse
Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Description
Set just outside the border of The Nidderdale AONB, Cran Darach Treehouse is surrounded by green spaces. Just a short drive away, you’ll find The Yorkshire Dales National Park, The North York Moors National Park and even The Forest of Bowland AONB – so if you’re in need of an escape to the wild – this is the spot for you.
However, the biggest challenge to venturing out and exploring is the meticulous craftsmanship of everything owners William and Julie have created at your space. The treehouse has been built around two oak trees that wind their way through the building. Around them, an ethically and locally sourced structure has been erected with comfort and relaxation in mind. With private use of the surrounding gardens, plenty of room to breeze about inside relaxing, a sauna to sweat away stress and a hot tub for a long soak of tired muscles, if you ever manage to get away to adventure. Even cooking’s a pleasure when you’re choosing between a conventional hob, a BBQ – or going full rustic on the firepit outside.

We got married on Saturday and wanted to enjoy a minimoon before our official honeymoon. We wanted somewhere to relax after the hype of the wedding and wind down before going home

Our stay was above and beyond. The location is stunning and quiet, the hosts were attentive and the treehouse is catered to every need you might have in your stay.

Absolutely amazing. The setting was so beautiful with nature all around and a lovely lawn area all to ourselves. The tree house was 5 star plus- fabulous interiors and facilities. There was everything you could think of and all the homely touches made it extra special. The hosts had left the most generous gift hamper and there was a cake with candle for my husband's birthday and prosecco too. The hot tub in the garden and tin bath on the balcony were fabulous. To sit out under the sky with all the birds and trees was incredible. We can't wait to return.

A very beautiful place to stay, luxuriously equipped - hot tub, sauna, outdoor shower and bath (as well as a lovely indoor bathroom!), well-equipped kitchen and outdoor cooking facilities as well… A great place to watch wildlife and very cosy if the weather is typically British!
